Let's say I wasn't finished memorising Surah Al Nas, and since it has 6 ayahs, say I memorised 2 ayah, when I leave the Qur'an section and can pick the ayahs, under the ayah (Surah Al Nas in this example) it'll say I memorised 33.3% of Surah Al Nas.
this is really useful and when the percentage is shown to people, they know they're making progress and this in turn is able to motivate the readers.
