Update Chakra-ui package from v1 to v2 #979

We are using PWA kit, and wanted to update chkra to latest version to use the all the latest components, but the there is a compatibility issue with React package.

Will there be a upgrade to Chakra or React coming soon?

@AmrinderKullar glad to hear you're interested in this. It is on our very-soon-coming list of things to tackle. Be on the lookout for V3 of PWA Kit / Composable Commerce because the React 18 aspect of the upgrade requires a change to the underlying SSR runtime.

@bfeister Hey,

Can you give some kind of a hint when the 3 version will be or is planned to be?

Because we are just going to start the project, and we would like to understand what to prepare for and when such an update is planned, as you know, it may affect the development process.

Since we would like to update both Router and Chakra, as well as possibly use Redux

@tsurul-valtech sorry for the delay, just saw this now. Our current target date for v3 release is June 5.

ChakraUI@2 is supported in V3: https://github.com/SalesforceCommerceCloud/pwa-kit/releases/tag/v3.0.0
