1 year ago Today, during our group meeting with my PD buddy and study group, I had the chance to share my achievements and moments of pride. It was a special moment for me as I reflected on my journey and acknowledged the tremendous support and guidance I received from my respective trainers at Code Your Future.
I started this journey with no prior knowledge of coding. I felt overwhelmed and uncertain about where to begin. Fortunately, being introduced to Code Your Future respective trainers(volunteers) have always provided clear explanations, practical examples and hands-on exercises that helped me grasp the concepts effectively. I took the initiative to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which laid the foundation for my coding skills. It was a significant milestone when I realized that I could create web pages and bring my ideas to life.
As time went on, they challenged me to dive deeper into web development and explored React. Learning React opened up a whole new world of possibilities in front-end development, allowing me to build interactive and dynamic user interfaces.
Recently, I am embarking on learning Node.js, which expanded my knowledge to the backend. It was a shift in perspective, understanding how to handle server-side logic and build full-stack applications.
Apart from technical skills, the PD sessions, which have been provided by professional trainers, played a crucial role in my personal development. I learned about essential concepts such as self-confidence, resilience, and setting SMART goals. These sessions equipped me with valuable tools to navigate challenges and pursue my aspirations with determination.
Furthermore, I gained insights into how to work effectively in a group setting. Collaboration, communication, and teamwork became integral parts of my skill set. Through group projects and discussions, I learned to appreciate diverse perspectives and contribute to a collective goal.
In conclusion, my journey at Code Your Future has been made possible with the invaluable support and guidance of my respective trainers. They have been instrumental in my growth as a coder and as an individual. I feel proud of my achievements and grateful for the opportunities and knowledge that my trainers have shared with me.
