With the rewrite, we would probably have to start from scratch with localization anyways.

I'd hope not, at least not completely. It seems we could re-use the verbiage even if the app structure/logic changes.

My main intent with this (very brief and poorly worded!) ticket was mainly to remove references to the defunct externall service, since it only serves to confuse users.
