It's obvious to those who program in Node.JS, but for me it's completely new.

I just found a project and want try it on Ubuntu to capture passed DLNA traffic passed from my phone from YouTube app to store it on disk. Is it possible? If yes, which exactly commands to execute to run the project in this DLNA capture mode?

This is how I imagine it:

git clone git@github.com:SamDecrock/DLNA-downloader.git
cd DLNA-downloader

nmp install ???
??? to run

The program would start and print:

DNLA capturing is started. Now select 'FakeTV' device for streaming to from
your YouTube application in your android phone for example.
The stream will be captured to ~/Downloads/FakeTV_captures

Or I'm wrong about that the project supposed to do?

If you want to download from youtube, you should have a look at https://youtube-dl.org/

TBH, I never finished this project. I never got to the download part. I built this to download content from a set-up box (Telenet) only to realise that their content was encrypted with DTCP-IP.
