Great start on the presentation! Some initial comments:
Can you use mathematical notation for the different components, rather than the R code. For example, $x(s) = f(s) + g(s)$ or $x(s) = g_1(s) + g_2(s)$, rather than x = gp$process + confounder$process
We'll want something in there about the different scenarios you created, what sample size, what GP parameters, etc. There is usually a slide or two for simulation design, before simulation results
I might move current slide 5 earlier, and start with an example of the question you want to answer, and then get into how the different pieces are spatial.
I recommend adding slide numbers on the bottom; it makes it easier on the audience when they want to ask a question
