Simulation code for XMM-Newton EPIC-pn data using SIXTE and SIMPUT, designed to create training data for deep learning based super-resolution and de-noising.
While generating the background, I noticed that the offset of the generated image (right) was quite extreme. Comparing it to the detmask we can see that it is indeed shifted too much. Note that this is in the full frame mode (no separate ccds)
