See here. It still is in beta, but there should be a performance increase. I'll have to check if the requirements for instrument XML definitions have changed and adjust their creation accordingly.

Currently, SIXTE 3.0 does not have the correct detector type for EPN (currently available: ccd, microcal, depfet, and CdZnTe). I'll set this issue on hold and contact the SIXTE team.
