Battles don't give expected outcome #126

The side with a size advantage gets less losses than expected (needs more investigation)

Unexpectedly, this way of calculating battle outcomes feels more fun to play. There is more strategy: it's now a good idea to move a larger portion of your army in one specific place to guarantee wins with few losses. It's also become a good idea sometimes to not move and build up your army size. I like it. Still, it's not the intended algorithm, so perhaps I could keep both and make a new rule out of it.
