Hey since etherpad is EOL now, maybe this should be on hackmd.io ?

Hi Rohit, thanks for the suggestion. We miss using Etherpad but we are going to give hackmd a try to see if it suits out needs!
Hi everyone! We would like to increase the diversity and inclusion of early-career researcher in the scientific peer review process, and we need your help!!
We have a vision to develop a peer review training program like no other...well, that's not exactly true...we want to model it on the awesome Mozilla Open Leaders program (MOL). 😍 ❤️ 😍
Our vision for the training program:
We will host bi-monthly community calls to learn together about best practices of peer review and to allow the community to share their own experiences.
The group calls will alternate with one-to-one mentoring calls, just like MOL, but our focus will be on peer review training
During the group calls, we will host webinars in which we will invite journal editors and peer review experts to speak
During the one-on-one meetings, mentors will help their mentees by providing personalized peer review feedback on a recent preprint review they have written
During the program, we will also schedule "live preprint journal clubs" – online, intra-institutional topic journal clubs, to facilitate and empower trainees to host their own local or digital preprint journal club.
After completing the online training and having posted five reviews, trainees will be given a badge identifying them as a ‘PREreview trained ECR’, and they will appear on a dedicated list on PREreview.org. Journal editors will then be able to access ECRs’ work and potentially invite them to peer review manuscripts for their journals.
What do we need help with? We have had some discussions with a few journal editors to gauge their interest in joining our group calls and also to help us source mentors for our one-to-one calls.
We need help recruiting more peer review experts to join our training program. We will create a Google Form that you can fill out if you have peer reviewing experience (for example if you are a journal editor, a principal investigator or post-doc who has performed at least 3 reviews for scientific journals).
We would also ❤️ your feedback and ideas for our training program. We have created an etherpad link where we can collaboratively work on creating an outline of the content of the training program.
We would ❤️ if you could help us spread the word by sending the link to your connections in the scientific research and scholarly publishing worlds.
Thank you soooo much!! 😃
