We would like to spearhead multiple “Live Preprint Journal Clubs”, aka journal clubs run online with the participation of scientists coming from different institutions, with preprints as the focus.
The goal would be not only to spark more diverse discussions around emerging scientific output, but also to generate collecting and constructive feedback that can be shared with the preprint authors and the community. To facilitate discussion and note taking, we would recommend using the new “groups” feature of Hypothes.is and tag each comment with the corresponding part of the review (e.g., “typo”, “major concern”, “minor concern”, “method”etc.).
