doesn't work for me #8

After running the command, the game run but I got this error in the cmd:

F:\Games\AlienIsolation\mods>aliasIsolationInjector.exe AI.exe process id is 4700 OpenProcess() failed: 5

update, I read the other issues and tried all of them, my error is now the overlay problem but not Epic overlay, the Injector overlay error:

Fatal error

A fatal error was caught by Alias Isolation, and the current process will terminate. A crash dump has been written to C:\Users\newusername\AppData\Local\Temp\aliasIsolationCrashDump.dmp. Press Ctrl+C to copy the contents of this message to the clipboard.

This worked for me:

Set game to fullscreen mode. Exit game. Now start again, but after running the command, don't touch the PC. Do not do anything, until the game is fully loaded.

I always got this issue, when alt tabbing out, while the game was loading.

OK

I tried today and got this error, too. The solution was to rename the Epic overlay folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Extras\Overlay

Mod still working fine.
