Once you finish getting your 100,000 points and happen to run synthchain and start it again (from start or inv?) you will be locked out of the Synthesis Focuser II unable to remove any left over spheres/crystals deposited.

Talking to it does nothing. Loading synthchain and doing stop doesn't fix it. Loading synthchain and doing inv will lock you in place. Forced zone or crash is required. If you zone you will be unable to talk to any npcs till you zone again.

Restarting, changing clients official/windower/ashita does nothing to fix it.

I have no idea; Obviously blocking the menu prevents you from interacting w/ other npcs. Crashing client should return the game to normal though after a restart. After you're done - just don't use synthchain anymore.... I can't troubleshoot until I get near 100k spirit - sorry.

I just finished the 100k points this morning and was finishing up the quest and i hit a macro by mistake didn't think anything of it till i tried talking to the synthesis focuser II and it wouldn't do anything. I only have start and inv on a macro.

I've tried crashing the game, restarting pc, using windower/ashita/normal ffxi and none fix it. Even took a spare laptop to work with ffxi and nothing. Even being logged off for 12hrs did nothing.

When you click the synthesis focuser II nothing happens, no interactions or anything. You can still trade items to it though I added a few crystals. The only reason i tried synthchain again was i thought it would fix w/e is wrong but it doesn't with the command stop.

I've been experiencing the same issue ever since I finished my shield back in February. I'm assuming I exited Synthchain improperly the last time I used it. However, ever since then, nothing has changed.

I have tried turning Synthchain on/off, loading/unloading it, logging on through vanilla POL, logging onto different computers. Nothing fixes the issue. I am able to trade items to the Synthesis Focuser II as usual and it will update me on the amount I have stored, but I am unable to otherwise interact with the Synthesis Focuser by clicking on it. I cannot open the menu to check or retrieve stored items from the Synthesis Focuser, and this error occurs regardless of which computer I am on, which platform I use to log on (POL, Windower, etc), and whether or not Synthchain is loaded.

Is there a fix for synthchain failing a synth and never resetting? I have to stop then start it again. Thanks!

Checking to see if there is a way to fix the issue of being locked out of the Synthisis Focuser II once completing shield?
