hello, Is it your first mix, or are you freeriding?
If you are freeriding, this is normal behavior as it can take some time to get a free mix. If this is your first mix, you should quickly join a mix.
This was in terms of a freerider. I was told that if you see "Trying to join" you are having an issue. I know the free rider group is pretty deep. As long as seeing that isn't an issue. I get a non-lethal code about "no wallycore in java.library.path" and want to make sure its not the issue.

ok, then this is standard behavior to wait at this step for freeriders ;) you can safely ignore the "no wallycore" log, we will get rid of it in next release.
Running whirlpool-client-cli mixes changed to trying to join a mix. I was informed that it should stay in waiting for a mix until it mixes. Any root cause to this?
