Currently, the quacking sound is a stereo sound file, which Minecraft assumes to be some kind of music that doesn't require 3D sound calculations.
The end result is that if you're anywhere near the duck, it sounds just as loud and just as close as it ever will be.
This PR changes that, so that the duck is no longer an omnipotent 6th dimensional being who is only 2 motions away from destroying your ear canal.
I also made the quack a little bit quieter but I could fix that if you want me to, just was a personal preference
