It still drains cells and focuses on using cells for power if you use it underwater, and it animates weirdly if you slam it into something underwater with no cells (doing absolutely no damage in this case) and/or under the effects of invuln.

Looks like this was fixed yesterday, closing.

EDIT 8/7/2014: whoops there's still the case with the cells, reopening
