Hi Community I don't know if here is the right place to ask this question or not. But recently it is confusing for many developers and users if Samsung will continue Tizen on Galaxy watches or completely migrates to Google WearOS ? If Samsung watches migrated to Google WearOS again, does It make sense to learn Tizen programming for Galaxy watches ? I apologize if I've wrote in a wrong place. Thank you.

Hello. My opinion is as follows. All versions up to watch 4 on Tizen, so when developing programs I will do for Tizen as well to cover more of them. Moreover, if you use MAUI or XF, you can easily run one project in both. And how to understand it completely? Is there a watch after the version 4 that came out with Tizen? But again, it depends on the time, support and size of the project. If you write projects for yourself, then why not, I even write projects for myself for Windows 10 Mobile and 8. If it's a team, then I think we need to get together and discuss it together. Also depends on whether you want to use NUI or MAUI, XF.

Do you have a need for this? As a dotnet lover, I would study it, so I think there is not much there. Markup can be done in xaml, and the specifics of the platform's API can be done as needed.

This text by translator, sorry))

You say all versions up to watch 4 works on Tizen but watch 5, watch 6 and other products are published. and soon new products will be released by Samsung. Thus, all devices up to watch 4 will become obsolete very soon and learning Tizen programming for watches will not make sense anymore.

According to Maui #1144 and Supported platforms for .NET MAUI apps from Microsoft the MAUI doesn't support WearOS.

I hope someone from Samsung will answer for clarification.

Hello! Sorry to tell you there in no one here who can clearly answer for the question. I can tell though, now the Watches are powered by wearOS and Tizen is not for watches anymore. Hope the answer helps. Thanks.
