Failed to Install #1

The RichPasteInstall.msi installer completed sucessfully but the addin did not appear in OneNote in File > Options > AddIns. I'm running OneNote 2016 32 bit on Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit.

Thanks for the issue. I'm actually going to be spending a bit more time on the installer and getting it working on more machines/OneNote Versions.

Could you just let me know if you can see the addin if you go to File > Options > Addins >> Manage: COM Add-ins >> Click 'Go' button

I'm not on my windows machine right now, but I'm pretty sure it didn't show up there.

Hi Samuel, I have the same issue with Windows 10 PRO and Onenote 2016

Unfortunately at the moment I don't have a machine with OneNote Installed.

Once I do I'll see if I can work out a more stable way to get it installed.

Hi Samuel, I also tried to develop a COM add-in for OneNote 2016, and encountered great difficulties with the Windows registry. It is very difficult to know the role of each entry, and there is no possibility to debug. After multiple tries, I did not get the button to be displayed in the ribbon, and I finally gave up. If you succeed to solve the problem of installation, your code will be very usefull for me to achieve my goal. Hope you will find the solution, and thanks for your code sharing.
