Is it bannable? #10

Could I get banned for using it in apex for example

I have single sided hearing loss and use it regularly on the COD series. It's not a cheat, and provides no advantage over normal hearing individuals. It detects all sounds not specific foot steps or gunshots. Compare it to someone being colored blind, a special filter or glasses do not make it cheating. The program monitors the sound output and in no way modifes the game or injects cheating features. No difference than someone using an equalizer. It was written for those who are hearing impaired. You will not be banned.

Thanks, I don't have an issue in hearing but my headphones are broken also I kind of hate them a bit and the speakers don't do the same job thats why I thought why not just visualize the audio like fortnite for example.

I wrote this six years ago when I was just 14 years old. I am honestly surprised that people are using it. The original reason I wrote it was because I had very crappy headphones that were horrible for pinpointing sound direction.

At the time, wanting to show it off, I published it on multiple different websites. Some of them were related to game hacking/cheating. I don't think it is bannable (there is definitely nothing the program does that would trigger the anti-cheat system), but if a specific game developer decided they want to ban for it, they obviously can... It doesn't help that when you search for it, those sites will pop up too.

It would be stupid, though, since with somewhat decent headphones you can make out the enemy's sounds much more easily than with whatever this does.

That's actually crazy doing this while ur 14 years old, also I'm using it for the same reason bec my headphones are broken. I'm also a programmer but my projects are pretty basic ones ngl

Amazing job, especially at age 14. I stand corrected, I never thought this would have been compiled because of bad headphones. As part of the Hearing Impaired community, this has provided an invaluable tool for gaming. Is this something you are willing to update for a fee. I'm a 70-year-old retired mechanical engineer that has been playing PC FPS games since the first release of Doom and still play the COD series weekly. Your work is very much appreciated.
