windows can't enable surround sound in the vb cable input. Anyone had this issue?

I'm using https://vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/banana.htm anyway and just tested CanetisRadar successfully after switching from 5.1 to 7.1 (I have a 5.1 speaker setup)
