Apache keeps crashing when using smarty php scripts #5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just use a web application with smarty template engine (php)

I'm using Windows XP SP3 and the latest pampa (PAMPA_1.0c.exe)

It could be related to PHP alpha ... can you please try to upgrade PHP to latest
stable version? ( PHP 5.3 )

Yes, the issue is related to the 5.3 version.
But right now I've another issue with the mysql_num_fields() that always 
returns 
5000.
I've searched on google and also this problem is related to php 5.3.* on 
windows.
I've updated to the latest php  (tried the 5.3.1RC1 and 5.3.2-dev versions) and 
there's no patch for the problem.
I've solved by downgrading to the 5.2 version.
