Game Crashing When Building New Rebel Squad #18

I noticed my game started crashing once I updated to 1.6 and still with 1.6.1.1 when I try and build a new squad with the Rebel faction. Empire and Scum faction squad builders work fine. I can load Rebel squads fine and it appears the AI can load Rebel squads as well.

Version 1.5 seemed to work fine with all factions for me.

That's strange. It works fine with 1.6.1 for me (Android).

Does this happen immediately after choosing Rebel faction? Before selecting any ships?

Yes, as soon as I click on "New Ship" after selecting Rebels.

I did some more playing around and it looks like it is doing it only on 1st Edition Rebels. 2nd Edition Rebels and all other factions work OK.

Edit: Oops, I missed your comment about it happening only for 1st edition. I get the same error for rebels when switching to 1st edition
