No notification sound received #2827

Intermittently, chats will be received and fail to sound the notification 
sound. The chat message is there, but the notification sound fails to activate.

Sorry, I know intermittent is hard to fix, but I cannot consistently cause this 
to happen

What version of the product are you using? On what device / operating
system?
1.02.01 r2438 nightly
Phone: HTC EVO 4G LTE
Android Version: 4.1.1
