Malware found inside of the 1-click installer? #369

I just paid the $5 for the 1-click Windows installer, but Windows Defender is detecting the trojan win32/detplock. Is this is a false positive?

Hi, thank you for your support, sorry for the late reply. The Lama Cleaner 1-click installer depends on mainstream Python packages, and I haven't received any other reports about this situation.

hey guys my hitmanpro scan (Sophos antivirus that got renamed to HitmanPro) shows this, what does the npps64 do, which library is it part of? could be a false alarm? image

for now deleting it, and will reinstall later when I need it again (this is an old installation from about a year ago, I have bitdefender and it never complained about it, but Sophos does), a bit strange, but I suggest you scan the builds you create - because if one of the libs you included gets compromised and you don't know about it, you might actually upload a malware without knowing at all, so please throw the binaries into VirusTotal online scanner once, before releasing, for extra safety :P
