Hi,
Ypsilon currently builds against a local copy of unicode-data. In the
Debian version of the package, I have used the attached patch to build
against an external copy of unicode-data. Please consider adding this
patch and adding unicode-data as a build-depend for ypsilon. So far as I
can tell, there are no regressions between Unicode 5.2.0 in Debian and
5.0.0 shipped with Ypsilon.
There are a few benefits to using an external source here:
1. It lets you use the latest upstream without having to update the
ypsilon source.
2. It saves some space in the tarball.
3. It avoids any possible licensing issues that may arise in the future
between your code and the embedded code.
