This PR fixes the issue identified in https://github.com/SasView/sasview/issues/1991.

I guess, ideally, the change should be in both master and 1.0.6 (if that is what we are building 5.0.5 against)? It would be helpful to have it appear in the 5.0.5 docs. The only reason I didn't put it against 1.0.6 was because I thought that was bad form now?
