In the modern age, Depression Diagnosis is a critical issue among youngsters with no standards for Depression Detection. Our problem statement includes the creation of a Virtual Assistant which allows for depression to be detected by performing Natural Language Processing and certain algorithms to determine the presence of depression in a particular user.
Solution
Our Solution for the proposed problem statement is the implementation of a Tkinter Chatbot built using Python which can ask targetted questions to the user and then allow the Chatbot to input the user responses on which Natural Language Processing and other intelligent algorithms can be processed to give a certain degree of insight into the user inputs and how their answers confirm to their worst fears of depression. In addition, we have a host of other features like fetching Wikipedia content, getting random (and poor) jokes, random facts, playing music and more.
