Using zeus-like views of players and the AI, I can see that as soon as a player or a Blufor unit enters a red hex, Opfor unit/s immediately detect them, maintain that detection, and run to their position.
Also, the Opfor AI are set to 100 vision and so forth, so can almost instantly spot the opposition for the purposes of firing when in range.
Because of this, there is almost no point in stealthing or setting up flank attacks.

Server parameter options to:
Return to vanilla AI detection process.
Use patrols and radio operators, not instant detection, to find players and to alert other forces.
Dramatically reduce AI vision and so forth to about 50.
