Should reorganize function definitions to be in their own jsx files in the utils folder.
Pass parameters to functions instead of them being defined inside component functions and using local component variables.
Only component function instructions and jsx returned should be in the body of the component function.
Preferable only the component function definition should be in the component file.

Need to populate the utils folder for the admin app as well to keep the code consistent between both apps.
