Hi. So, I believe it would be useful to add a Photoshop-style magic wand tool in Output->Fill Zones, or, failing that, at least a fill tool. I'm mostly thinking of Black and White mode, I imagine this would be more complicated in color.
I often work with other people's scans, which were not created under the best of conditions, and so encounter situations like this, for instance:
A fill tool here would be useful for eliminating the fold on the right and the underlining under the ninth line in a single click, instead of having to manually create fill zones.
Since I imagine that this would just create a fill zone in the shape of, well, the shape you're clicking on, this would essentially serve as a magic wand tool as well. If it did this, it would be useful for situations where certain letters don't come out properly in the scan (or haven't been printed properly to begin with), and need to be replaced with a version of the letter that is fully visible. You can see an example here in the center:
Currently I either have to do this outside of ScanTailor pre-binarization (which is harder), or edit ScanTailor's output, which usually increases the file size and so on.
