I've implemented setDTR to reset my Arduino.
This is how it works for me:
public void setDTR(boolean value) throws IOException {
int SET_CONTROL_LINE_STATE=0x1;
int DTR_HIGH =257;
int DTR_LOW=256;
int result = mConnection.controlTransfer(FTDI_DEVICE_OUT_REQTYPE,
SET_CONTROL_LINE_STATE, value?DTR_HIGH:DTR_LOW, 0 /* index */,
null, 0, USB_WRITE_TIMEOUT_MILLIS);
if (result != 0) {
throw new IOException("Setting DTR failed: result=" + result);
}
}
