ARM11 crash on launch with patch applied #32

When launching the game without the patch, it runs fine. However, when launched with the patch applied, the system crashes (Luma .dmp file attached here and a picture of the crash) with an ARM11 error. This is done after installing the latest version of the patch. What might I be able to do to fix this? This is a legitimate copy of the game, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Thanks for any help in advance, and apologies if this comes at an inconvenient development time.

It seems the loader crashes even before entering the game. This usually happens to users of a crack for our Episode 1 release. If you've used that before going legit, just remove the crack and it should work.

Also, just out of curiosity as to how the patch works, what would distinguish a cracked version of the game vs a legitimate one in the eyes of the patch?

our patches always come as custom game updates, never as a layeredfs patch. if you have a layeredfs patch installed for the game, our patch will crash, since the crack interferes with it...
