Android Q Beta 5 Saving Issues #57

Your issue

I know the Q betas don't guarantee things to work, but I purchased and downloaded the game yesterday night and things worked flawlessly on Android Q Beta 4. I got excited for Beta 5, updated right away, and now the game will not load or save and crash whenever it tries to. I uninstalled the patch and the Japanese version works fine. Once the patch is installed, I cannot save or modify settings without it crashing. Strangely enough, if there are save files present in the scarletstudy folder when loading the game, it will refuse to load entirely. I know you're not obligated to fix this issue since Q is still in the works, but having to go back to Beta 4 to play this is a real bummer.

Update: Here's a bug report just in case you want one. File was too big for github.

I'm having the exact same issue. Pixel 3a, Android Q beta 5. Rootless, no custom rom.

Issue was resolved in Android Q Beta 6 for me.
