Cas strafe cool-down change/ expansion #125

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. As usual it’s not a problem and if it stays the same it won’t be the end of the world, I feel like the change I have in mind adds more depth to the gameplay, adds more realism and makes it feel a little more consistent with how cas loiter works.

Describe the solution you'd like What I’d like to see is adding a virtual loiter time added to cas strafe (with it remaining a virtual asset, I’m not proposing it spawns an aircraft to fly around like loiter), adding a loiter time means you have to manage your time better, you can get caught out or have to use a different asset if the timer has run out and the aircraft has returned to base and is on cooldown, I’ll lay out a theoretical way it would play out to hopefully make the idea clear.

You would open the simplex menu to call in your strafe, selecting an asset for an example an A-10

“Player requesting the A-10’s callsign” this would trigger the currently implemented virtual runway/ take off timer.

once that timer is up the aircraft would virtually be in the AO ready for strafe runs, “A-10 callsign on station” now on the loiter timer, you can call in as many strikes until it runs out of loiter time or until the aircraft has expended all its ammo.

At which point it would “RTB to fuel and rearm” and you’d then have to request the asset again once the cool-down has passed, this can also be the timer that triggers if the aircraft is destroyed.

In my opinion it adds more depth to the gameplay as you have to manage your loiter time, if a tank appears and your aircraft is on cooldown you have to deal with it yourself or evade until you can get the aircraft back on station, at the moment you can basically just strafe the hell out of everything and have little to no worries.

Hopefully that all makes sense
