Permalinked message in `schildichat:` scheme as provided by matrix.to leads to "Your matrix.to link was malformed" error

Describe the bug

• I wrote a post and created a permalink. That premalink comes out in this format: https://matrix.to/#/!...:darc.de/$...-...?via=darc.de&via=matrix.org . This comes out this way no matter whether I use Schildichat on a phone or the Element web interface of the server on a PC.
• That link has been embedded in a web page.
• I activate that link in a browser on my Android device.
• The link takes me to some place of matrix.to, where I'm offered to download SchildiChat via either Google Play or F-Droid. I'm also offered a link "If you already have SchildiChat installed, you can open it here."
• So I open that "open it here" link. I get a pop-up whether I want to open a link in an app. That link now has a different format, namely schildichat://room/!....%3Adarc.de/%24...?via=darc.de&via=matrix.org
• I acknowledge the pop-up.

Expected behavior of Schildichat: Opens the post.

Behavior actually seen: An error pop-up with the German equivalent of "Error matrix.to-Link erroneous".

To Reproduce

Create a link from a post, put it on a web site, and try to make your browser tell SchildiChat to access that post.

Expected behavior The post is accessed.

Upstream relevance

• Does this issue exist in Element Android? Unknown, but I don't think so, as there is the word "schildichat" in the URIs refused by SchildiChat.
• If this issue exists in Element Android, please also link the corresponding bug report (create a new one if it doesn't exist yet)

I can reproduce using the element: link when opening via Element from matrix.to. The schildichat scheme uses the same logic as the element scheme, so this indeed is an upstream issue.

I indeed could reproduce with Element, so opened an upstream bug at https://github.com/vector-im/element-android/issues/8334 .
