For some reason, I cannot run SchildiChat properly from the application launcher, however, when running the same command from the .desktop file in a terminal, it runs just fine. When running from the application launcher, it shows an infinite loading screen with no "Logout" text, and if I try to quit it by the tray icon, I have to go into a system monitor and terminate all related processes. However, with the terminal, none of these problems exist. The only difference I can see in KSysGuard is that the cat processes are, for some reason, becoming zombie processes via the application launcher.
This is only an issue on my desktop, strangely enough. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as both user and sudo, as well as deleting the config folders each time.
