In some cases simple scripts do the trick but maybe defining those as functions could do us well.
Get distance to nearest player from object
-- to prevent i.e. spawning when players around
get players
-- E.g. to set as condition for A.I. taxi scripts... maybe get them by their group or something.... not entirely sure on that.
Get direction and distance from object to nearest player
-- maybe to spawn hostiles to intercept or something...

I know there are a lot of those kind of functions on armaholic. maybe just use the SHK functions? like SHK_Intercept?
