Describe the bug The mac app is no longer able to find or set my location.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click the home icon in the menu bar to set the phone location to my mac's location
  2. Clicking and holding on the map also no longer works with the error "Error changing location - Could not change the location."

Expected behavior The app to set my phones location without an error

Additional context This has worked in the past, but today it's not working at all. I've tried over wifi and USB but I dont think it's a mobile device issue.

Strange... I'm unable to reproduce this. It's working for my iOS 15.2 devices.

Could you do the following:

  1. Delete the downloaded DeveloperDiskImages. I think they should be in ~/Library/Application Support/LocationSimulator/iPhone OS/15.2
  2. Reboot your Mac and your iPhone
  3. Open LocationSimulator and connect your iPhone via USB
  4. Let it download and upload the DeveloperDiskImage.

Rebooting the devices makes sure that no DeveloperDiskImage is mounted. Deleting the old image makes sure that you have the latest disk image.

Yeah, I'm not sure what happened but I put my mac to sleep and then it started working. I seem to intermittently have issues getting my new mac's location so it might be a me-thing rather than an app-thing. Sorry for the bogus report!
