I read some posts that indicate the samsung ssd's have been quite unreliable with hackintosh in the past. But these drives have great prices and some of the best performance: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-Plus-MZ-V7S1T0B/dp/B07MFZY2F2

Do you know if there are still issues with TRIM on hackintoshes for these drives?

buy another ssd. check the Open Core guide https://dortania.github.io/Anti-Hackintosh-Buyers-Guide/Storage.html Now I've a WD SN750 and it's way better than 970 EVO (10s vs 30s of booting time)
