Thanks for the great work! This help me get my system up and running quickly. I'm have recently upgraded to a i9-10850k (from 9900k), with a Radeon Vega 64 FE and have toggled between system definitions iMacPro1,1, and iMac20,2, with the iGPU enabled/disabled accordingly, but always receive message. (Prior definition was iMac19,1, with clover, but does not work anymore with new MB)

This video is in a format that can't be streamed to this TV.

As I house all my media on this machine, I often stream it to my AppleTV's. However, since my rebuilt my Hack I received this error using the same previously working installation b/c I have the same SSD, and only a different board/processor/WIFI and OpenCore instead of clover. My question therefore is, has it worked for you? This will at least let me know its probably a hardware issue, as we share same config as of an hour ago (your latest as of writing).

SYMTOMS:

While I don't expect a solution, a sanity check from anyone would be nice :) Happy Hacking!

UPDATE 04/07

The actual reason this isn't working is because my IGPU isn't detected. I know this because System REport > Graphics Displays only shows my Vega... and the Mac uses the IGPU for IQSV streaming.... When I learn why it's not discovered, will report back :)

Figured this out. Basically, while the IGPU didn't display as I would have expected, the reason for the error:

This video is in a format that can't be streamed to this TV.

was because the recommend Wifi card which works great OTB for everything, unfortunately has incredibly slow download speeds. Additionally, the ethernet was not working so never had the opportunity to connect having the necessary throuput to work as intended. After realizing the speed was very slow, and couldn't do basic things like transfer a file, I suspected it might not also be able to stream. Such was the case. Thx.

p.s. To fix the ethernet which made this text possible, using the proper driver there are still steps to perform in the OS, which involved selected the lan speed.
