Hi there,
I'm using the F20a BIOS and I'm using the CPU_FAN port for one of the two PWM fans of my Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 and the SYS_FAN_2 port to control my case fans and the smaller CPU fan. CPU_FAN port works fine in AUTO mode, the SYS_FAN_2 had to be set to PWM to use the fan curves in combination with my internal Fractal Nexus 2 fan hub. I added a manual curve to achieve a very silent system in normal desktop use with internally 28-34 degrees, while the CPU is running at 37-39 degrees celsius.
Make sure you have a PWM fan plugged in (4 pins), 3 pin fans have to be controlled by voltage. Also make sure to pin the fan profile to the right temp sensor.
Hope that helps a little bit.
Mauticom, thanks for the suggestion . Just about to add a Alphacool 280 extreme to my 420 rad . Will have a play with your suggestion when its complete . I have had to stop as I fitted a 6800xt Nitro in there and just waiting for osx support :)
Nice. Can't wait to get a 6800xt myself. Maybe you can open a new issue to let us know about your progress to get it running and what you already tried.
Thank you.
Has anyone else got an issue when the fans run flat out. Using the latest versions of everything on here. I have the fan controls set to PWM in bios, but it appears not to take any notice of them. Any suggestions people?
