No temperature info of 5700XT #122

Thank you so much for your EFI file. I also use a Gigabyte Z490 Vision D mother board and a Saphire Pulse 5700 XT, and they are running on MacOS 10.15.7. The problem is I cannot gain any temperature information of the 5700XT, though I have installed iStat Menus and HWMonitor, both of them have a blank text in the GPU field. What should I do to get my GPU temperature info. Thank a lot.

Hello @hustwyk !

The same thing happens to me, but in my case in iStat Menu the GPU temperature field appears in two places. One appears empty but the other indicates the temperature. Like in the image.

I hope it was helpful and sorry for my English :)

Thank you for your reply. I have the same GPU sensor info like the left pic, however I cannot find any info about my GPU like the right pic. Maybe the models of our GPUs are different. Actually my GPU fan did not work at all, I doubt the temperature may be too high, that's the reason I'd like to figure out the temperature of my GPU.

The GPU fans are not always on. The system detects when the temperature exceeds the limit and it's then when it turns on the fans. That is configured in the BIOS, if I am not mistaken.

And for the field of the right image, maybe you don't have configured like that:

I hope I've helped.
