Try downloading the full Installation file of 13.0.1 and run the update. Worked for me.
Sounds similar to my experience. I reinstalled from the full installer as well, after losing a day mucking around with it. I was very glad I had a recent Time Machine back up, as I was a overly confident it would just work... Hackintoshing - the risk of getting complacent. I should add I have a slightly different set up: Z590i Vision D - 11th gen i5 with RX6600.
So I will have to reinsall mac os with the ventura installer, correct? Will I need to reinstall everything else as well or will my data and apps still be present like when doing it on a real mac?

How to do this ?
Im having issues with the Ventura update as well. I am running iMac 20.2 , it seems that the Updater installs up until the Apple sign it as it goes to almost 99% of the line it goes black and resets. Should I turn off the internal GPU in bios? I am using your latest opencore 0.8.9 here is my EFI/ EFI 3.zip thank you in advance
I want to update my hackintosh from 12.1 (21C52) to the newest Ventura (13.0.1). I have the newest version of the EFI folder, using the iMacPro1,1 configuration without the iGUP enabled. I also have updated opencore to 0.8.7 (earlier versions also do not work).
The download of the update works, but as soon as it reboots and tries to boot to the installer it fails. Also the boot log is so fast on the screen that even when filming in slow-motion I cannot read it. Booting to the installed MacOS (12.1) works fine.
