Curious re: order logic for MS first on the page with descriptive text for only MS (just not fully populated yet?). Order I would expect, with descriptions on each or none, would either be:
PhD/MS/UG or
UG/MS/PhD
Undergraduate:
Minor in Neural Computation seeking clarification on this from Assist and Assoc Deans of undergrad.
Expected order of degrees:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Additional Major in Computer Science
Minor in Computer Science
Minor in Neural Computation (with CNBC - if it stays in list)
Bachelor of Computer Science and Arts (Interdisciplinary BXA)
Bachelor of Science in Music and Technology (Interdisciplinary w/CFA) - this may be deprecated - Assist Dean indicating we have little involvement with it
Masters:
CSD has 2 in-house MS programs and 1 "partner" program
MSCS
MS 5th year (btw, working on a name change that hasn't been approved yet)
Accelerated MBA - this one is administered by Tepper not CSD, however, need to review if it should be actually top-level CSD MS info (it's currently on the CSD site but I'm not 100% sure of the history of that).
Not CSD MS programs:
Master of Science in Emerging Media - administered by iDeATe
Master of Computational Data Science - there are CS faculty, and a Systems track, but as a program it is administered by LTI.
PhD:
These are fine:
Ph.D. in Computer Science
Ph.D. in Computer Science/Dual Degree Portugal
However, Self-Defined and Interdisciplinary are two different things.
The interdisciplinary degrees are the three correctly listed as:
Ph.D. in Computer Science/Neural Basis of Cognition (with CNBC)
Ph.D. in Algorithms, Combinatorics and Optimization (ACO, with Math)
Ph.D. in Pure and Applied Logics (PAL, with Philosophy)
Self-Defined is outlined in the PhD handbook and not emphasized on our web or for specific recruiting due to the complexities involved. We have a couple grad students in this category currently but we don't seek them out. The link for Self-Defined Interdisciplinary doesn't apply to CSD programs and is erroneous - CSD is not among the 3 listed at the bottom of that page for PhDs and that page is primarily for UG.
Looking at: http://cs-dev.cmu.edu/programs - Toggled for CSD:
