cutting silence #421

Dear all, I have successfully installed the "record_plugin" by dk5ra.

But, i need some help/support: my final goal is to cut the silence from the record file.

When i use the squelch function in rtl_fm then i have "underruns" with aplay. And with underruns multimon is very unreliable and almost unusable.

and without squelch I have the noise (in german: "Rauschen") in the file and i can`t cut the .wav.

So, Is anyone aware of this problem and has a solution? Or another more elegant solution?

The problem was the raspbian operating system.

I have tried the operating system ubuntu and there it works right the first time.

I don`t know why there are any problems with raspbian an the buffering...
