SPACE SOCCER, team game, everyone has force cannons, 2 goals at either end of map, get ball to a goal to score a point. :3
Actually nvm, that wouldn't need to be an actual separate game mode, since you can just do capture the flag and give everyone force cannons. Would just need a good map for it.
Got a few ideas for gamemodes (totally original ideas) not expecting all of them to be done, but typical deathmatch, team deathmatch and maybe capture the flags would be a good baseline.
Basically ive got some typical gamemodes, and some 'alternate' versions of those with different names.
Victory condition is always first player/team with X points wins OR player/team with most points after X minutes wins.
Deathmatch: get 1 point for a kill Skirmish: get 2 points for a kill, lose 1 for a death
Capture the flag: get 'flag' to your base, stop enemy team doing the same, get a point when the 'flag' enters your 'base', flag respawns on point score, flag can be pushed by explosions/force cannons. Extraction: one team has to steal a piece of tech/secret information from enemy team, the other team must defend said item, rounds are timed, if the time runs out defending team gets a point, if the object is successfully stolen the attacking team gets a point, when a point is scored teams swap and the object and players respawn
Elimination: players do not respawn when they die, if there is only one living player remaining that player gets a point and then everyone respawns Infection: 2 teams, 'zombie' team starts with 25% of the players (min 1 player) but players killed by a 'zombie' respawn on the 'zombie' team, 'living' players get points by killing 'zombies', if all players are 'zombies' everyone respawns, with 25% of the players on the 'zombie' team again. Zombie melee attack does 100% damage regardless of whether the target is facing away or not.
