Updating by hand isn't user friendly, nor is it scalable. I know Homie supports OTA updates, but I don't know how to use it. Here are the Homie docs on OTA updates

Would like to be able to use MQTT message to trigger OTA update.

It would also be nice to have that message get sent when new firmware hits GitHub.

This has been closed as I've moved to using ESPHome rather than the Homie framework. https://github.com/SciFiFarms/TechnoCore-esphomeyaml/tree/master
