Hi, I see that there hasn't been a commit for over a year. Is this abandoned?

Well, "abandonded" is too strong of a word. The thing is mostly a lack of manpower and some annoying issues due to how Torch works internally that make working with it from the Nim side pretty annoying.

I still have and technically continue to use it in my own work for some NN training and application. It works, but it's not exactly a "works perfectly out of the box" experience.

There is also Nim v2 which will come out soon that may fix some blocking bugs for a better interop but may also break some things. We will have to wait for a 2.0 version and resume the work from there.

I didn't really had the time to keep on working on this recently, but PR are open and will be reviewed and merged if they improve things.
