Slide summaries of the DIST & DSWx product offerings. #80

As described yesterday, we could use two to four slides (in Markdown format) to describe the DSWx and DIST data products from NASA EarthData Cloud. Specifically, these products have technical specifications:

What I'm looking for is slides providing, e.g., a table or diagram that shows how to decompose the complicated URLs extracted from the granules into meaningful chunks. For instance, consider the filename:

OPERA_L3_DIST-ALERT-HLS_T35TMF_20230801T085727Z_20231221T172508Z_L9_30_v1_VEG-DIST-STATUS.tif

The substrings OPERA, L3, ..., T35TMF, 20230801T085727Z, etc. have definite meanings as outlined in the DIST specification document. A slide outlining (most of) the details of these would be really useful to learners so we can decompose the meaning for them without having to read the whole DIST specification. I don't think we need to describe all the bands as in the appendix of the spec, but whichever ones we use (@kvenkman, please reply to this comment telling, say, two bands we're using from DIST products & two bands we're using from the DSWx products so that Mariela knows which ones are most relevant in our examples).

So, what would help would be one or two slides for the DIST products & one or two slides for the DSWx products that outline the most useful info the learners can glean from each granule. Don't feel you have to read the entire specifications in detail, but whatever you can accomplish in a few hours would be a big help.

For DSWx, we use only B01 WTR

For the DIST-ALERT product, we only use the VEG-DIST-STATUS layer. It should suffice only to explain these layers to the users.
