Sprite On Image URL Failed event is not working #4788

Closed dop2000 closed 3 years ago

dop2000 commented 3 years ago

Problem description

If URL is not valid or not accessible, the Sprite On Image URL Failed is not triggered. Instead, some error messages appear in console log. Maybe it can catch only specific types of problems, like wrong image data?

It handles the error correctly if you put a valid URL which fails to fetch. It only seems to fail if you use an invalid URL, in which case there is a different kind of URL parse error, which is not handled. I had assumed the action would only ever be used with valid URLs. I've updated the next beta to catch this type of error as well.

Thanks! I noticed this error when I tried to load a non-existing file. The URL was in valid format, but the file was not uploaded to the server.
